Terms and Conditions and Disclaimer

At Rakuten STAY TERRACE Hakone Kowakudani SPA (hereafter referred to as "this Spa"),

we kindly ask for your understanding of the following in order to ensure that you receive our treatments comfortably:

1.  The treatments at this Spa are intended for health and beauty purposes and are not designed for medical treatment.

2.  We are unable to increase the intensity of treatments based on the customer's request.

3. If you experience any discomfort, physical unease, doubts, or concerns during the treatment, or if you have any requests, please inform the therapist immediately.

4. Please report any conditions that may increase the risk of the treatment (such as previous surgeries, Botox injections, hyaluronic acid injections, or any similar procedures, as well as congenital or acquired bone diseases) in advance.

5. You may experience pain or redness after the treatment, but it will disappear within a few days at most.

6.  We may refuse treatment for the following individuals:

・Those with heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, diabetes, epilepsy, thrombosis, or related swelling

・Those with infectious skin diseases, severe athlete’s foot, or skin inflammation

・Pregnant women in the first trimester (up to 4-5 months), those who are in the 9th month of pregnancy, or those who are within 3 months postpartum (pregnant individuals outside this period also require a doctor’s approval)

・Individuals suffering from skin diseases, including infectious skin diseases, at the treatment site

・Individuals who have been advised by a doctor to avoid exercise or massage

・Individuals who have had brain or skull surgery or have brain disorders

・Those under the influence of alcohol ・Individuals with a pacemaker

・Those who engage in inappropriate behavior (such as touching the therapistoutside the treatmnet area, making the therapist feel unsafe, or causing harm to the therapist) or make inappropriate requests that the therapist deems unsuitable for treatment.

7.  Health Information

If you have any health concerns (including those not listed below), we recommend obtaining a doctor's approval before receiving treatment:

・Heart disease / Stroke・Pregnancy / infertility treatments・iodine or shellfish allergies・Varicose veins / deep vein thrombosis ・Cancer / chemotherapy・Breastfeeding・Food or nut allergies・High/low blood pressure・Depression / anxiety ・Allergies against products

・Severe acne・Diabetes (Type 1 & 2)・Fluid retention・Sensitive skin・Sunburn・Epilepsy・Foot infections・Recent chemical peeling・Hormonal imbalance・Hepatitis・Claustrophobia・ The use of AHA/ Retin-A/ Retinol・Thrombosis / sclerotherapy・Liver/kidney diseases・Arthritis / excessive exercise・Thyroid diseases・Muscle pain・Microdermabrasion・Poor circulation・Asthma・Recent cosmetic surgery・Recent surgery・Eczema・Botox / Restylane / Fillers / Collagen

8. Individuals under 18 years of age require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you provide false information about your age and receive treatment, the Spa will not be liable for any consequences.

9. This Spa is not a sex-related business. We do not provide any services related to such activities, and if you attempt to demand such behavior, we will report it to the appropriate authorities immediately.

Cancellation Policy:

■For cancellations made after 11:00 PM the day before your appointment, 50% of the treatment fee will be charged.

■For cancellations on the day of the appointment, unless due to unavoidable circumstances, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

■If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may alter the treatment content.
